3rd observatin

Since we don't have a class(Feb.16, 2010)we went to BLDG.I for have an observation. So we approach Mrs. Albos and they allowed us to observed in the review of DAT to the grade I pupils,who reviewed by the 4th year intern Ms. Quintela. While we are observing,I notice that whenever the pupils are noisy, the intern have their own strategy to get the attention of the students, she lower her voice so that the pupils tend to listen because they cannot hear very well when they are talking to each other.After that we proceed the lessons of another 4th year intern who is Ms. Reyes to the grade V students.I notice that whenever this is a last section, the students are listen attentively and participate to the discussion. And even the answer of the students are wrong they teach the right answer and try to repeat if by the students.Again,another lesson we had observe by Mr. Milliare in his Math VI class section 2.I observe that he is very well in speaking and the students are happy and attentively listen to him. Because of his motivation and smiling face to the students. And of course Inotice that in elementary we cannot change the fact that the attitude of the students teasing by each other.
Lastly for the three classes we had observe,Ilearn so many things.How to approach students with different grade level and uniqueness.And also we must consider their attitude of being a young one.

FS 2 (2nd observation)
'Science does not know its debt to imagination'
Last Feb. 12,2010 we had an observation by an intern in the BLDG I. ,who is Ms. Aguaviva. And the students she used are the Grade VI pupils,section 1.On the first part of her demonstration,she uses a motivation for us the students maintain their interest to listen very well. She begun by a guiding question about the topic and it is "How is the color of the star related to its temperature".So during the lesson proper,there's so many things I've learn. The first one is we must consider the instructional device we should used according to the topic. And of course if it is for differences we should consider the similarity of an object. The second one, also Inotice that whenever the students didn't answer the particular questions, she try to answer it and repeat by the students. And ask a questions which is more simple for them to answer it. Also whenever that the students raise their questions,sshe answer it very well. At the end,I can say that her demonstration is a success one.
After her demonstration we had an evaluation together with the master teacher who observe her (Mrs. Hutamarez). So she discussed about the approach that Ms. Aguaviva used and it is "4's approach ".The first A is for ACTIVITY' which in the fisrt place she conducted an activaity by finding a letter under their chair and guide them how to form o word which is related to the topic. Tha second A is for ABSTRACTION, where in she try to preoccupied or inattentive,and try to have a different meaning and have an abstract idea. the third A is for ANALYSIS which is the separation of a complex material or conception into its element. And the determination of causes from results. And the last A is for APPLICATION which the students try to apply what they have learn from the lesson. The students are the one explore or observe the given instrustional device which is about determinig the different color of the stars:red.bluish white,yelllow and blue.
All in all this observation is another fruitful experiences for all of us. Because,theres so many inpormation that we can apply when we are in the field or to become a good taeacher someday.

FS 2(1st observation)
'Experience is the best Teacher'



At last,for several days that we went on LWES BLDG.I,the principal is always not around,i think 3 times we failed to met the principal.Like in saying try and try until you succeed.And now,I'm so happy because even though it is friday Mrs. Clarita Albos(Principal)is there,and it is her birthday.First we do, we went to Mrs. Sario,the one in-charge in PHIL-IRI or in oral reading.So we divided into 5 ,and they gave us a sheet of paper and discuss what shall we do. Each of us,have assigned students who individually read in front of us.And after that we measure their comprehension on what they understand to the selection:English and Filipino.While they are reading,and we listen,we write down their numbers of miscues,their's so many things come in to my mind.First,when there is a students who is hard to pronounce some of the words,what come to my mind is that,'when I'am still in elementary do I act kike this?Which is hard to pronounce the word?I'am fast or slow reader?Second,when there are some who cannot answer the queations,do I like them?

On the other hand,there's so many things I've learned.First,we should be consider the individual differences of the pupils,don't be inconsiderate in some of the pupils who cannot read very well. But instead, help them step by step on how to pronounce words correctly. Second, we should temper in those pupils who is weak,understand them, and have a long understanding on what they are. Help them to overcome their weaknesses and help them to think that they can do it.

And lastly,as the future educators be practice ourselves to deal with students,and their individual differences,understand them in many aspect. Now, even though it is our first observations,I can say that it is very important day from me,because there's so many things i realize on myself.
